Los Vaqueros in Albany

Always loved this place, but for some reason they wouldn't wait on us. We waited almost 30 minutes and noone acknowledged us, even though the two waiters checked on the other customers around us. Even the two set of customers that was seated after us. We foundly got up and left.

Excellent salsa, white cheese on everything, great service, very reasonable prices, huge portions, nice decor.

Met a friend at the bar. Very nice... Drink was great... My dip was a little watery, but had a good taste. I'll definitely be going again!

I would say 3.5 stars! The food itself was okay (I am from south Texas so my TexMex standards are high ; ), your typical average TexMex food in the South, perhaps a bit better than that average. You have to pay an extra dollar for every new bowl of chips&salsa (who does that?!), the tortillas are sadly not homemade, and our waiter only came about four times (we were there quite a long time since our food took a while). I got the chicken soup, and compared to everyone else's dishes at least, wellll, it was delicious!! Came with fresh avacado and lime and tasted pretty authentic. I tried everyone else's dishes annnd not so much lol😜

I've been here several times and the food is always so delicious! And they always give you so much to where you will more than likely ask for a to-go box. The staff tends to every need with no hassle. The atmosphere is pleasant and everybody is very friendly. Definitely recommend.

I always enjoy my meal when I visit here. I've never had to wait for a table and the food always comes out fast. It does get a little loud when it gets busy but overall I love the atmosphere!

I had my daughter's Baby shower at this restaurant and I didn't appreciate the lack of professionalism, customer service and they were borderline disrespectful! We had a celebratory party of about 30 people and were handled in a rush-like fashion, attitudes were as if they were bothered, they did not remember orders, had to repeatedly ask for items that were ordered and they were not attentive at all! We will NEVER be patronizing this establishment again or referring anyone to eat or host an event there again!!! #One&Done

My friends and I FAVORITE restuarant. I always get the Memo Special with shrimp and chicken with extra season with my onions green peppers and tomatoes cooked soft with melted cheese on the side. Plus two large Tropical Margaritas. And always leave a good tip. Love this place!!!!

Decent, good, decent service, decent Mexican food.

It was ok but not great. The table was very sticky. We couldn't figure out if it was becauseit was dirty (although we asked the waiter to wipe it off) or if the epoxy finish on it was not completely cured.

Went here for lunch and ordered the steak fajitas. The food was good and the waiter always made sure my drink was full. Not much more I could've asked for.

The food was delicious but the waiter acted like he had better things to do than take care of his table. And there was hardly anyone in there so it wasn't bc they were busy.

Great place to go for Mexican food, a place with fast, friendly service at a good price. I had the taco salad with chicken. My husband had enchiladas supreme. Both dishes looked really good and were absolutely delicious. I know it was more food than I could eat. You couldn’t possibly leave this place feeling hungry. We’ll certainly go back again soon.

This is the best mexican food in this area... but I have had much better.. the prices are fair.. I would rate my meal a 6 on a scale 0 to10.. i hear the margaritas are dynamic. Service is always good and prompt no matter how busy they get. You should go and try it.

Very disappointed. When the check came there were about five charges for add-on items that were not listed in the menu. Be very careful when you order a taco, you may be charged $2 more than the menu price.

Awesome atmosphere and savory salsa. That's about the only positive things I can say about this place. I gave this restaurant a total of three chances to make a good impression and each time my order was incorrect. The service is hit or miss. The manager pretends he doesn't understand English when an issue is presented. Seriously?! Also, I ordered a large queso with my take-out order and received the smallest bag of chips. ¡Qué lástima!

Good Mexican food in Albany. The place was really busy and it was also a Friday night. I recommend it as a family friendly place also as I saw hotdogs on the menu. I don’t believe I have ever seen this at a Mexican food restaurant. Our server was very good. He checked on the table many times. The free chips and salsa kind of sucked but my entree of shrimp quesadilla dinner was good. Margarita was also good. I had the house margarita.

I so glad they are open.I felt safe while dining on the best food in Albany.
